Sat 20th April. Took a trip out to the Grand Canyon from Vegas. The tour went to the West Rim. This side is a Hualapai Indian reservation and is better for viewing and less commercialised than the other rims. There are no barrier at the edge yet they have had no people fallen over compared to around 20 on the other rims. They were in full native clothing to celebrate their anniversary.
Also stopped in a Joshua Tree forest. Was only allowed to get pictures of Hoover Dam as we drove past as they have restricted access since 9/11 to only one tour.
