Well I guess Queanbeyan was jealous of its country cousin, Wagga. The heavens opened up over night and I woke to a very swollen river.
Low level bridge was closed in town so I thought it might be a good day to stay home.
The river peaked between 10:50am and 12:00pm and was showing around 8.7m at the Riverside Cemetery water level gauge.
Much action at the Queanbeyan Riverside Caravan Park. All cabins in the park were craned out and put in the local carpark.
